Well, I have to give Stephanie credit for getting my to do this. It's something that I've thought about for several years but haven't done because of one excusion (not just a reason or excuse, but both - copyright Laurel Price) or another. I have so much that has happened or is happening or is about to happen that I think this is the easiest way for people to keep up with me.
As many of my friends know, I have moved back to Utah from California. It's been one of the best moves in my life; not that California was a bad move. I learned so much about myself and being an adult on my own, that I would not trade it for the world. I learned that I need the changing seasons, including snow, and to be close to the people I love - both family and friends.
I am in the middle of several things.
1st is my king sized quilt for my bed. I have looked for about 2 years to find something I liked, and I finally found fabric to make it. It's almost done - just have to cut the binding and sew everything together.
2nd are books of my photography. I want to thank my editor and coach, Shannon Evans (Publisher, Editor, Author, Book Coach PASS Publishing - Helping Professionals Write Books. Author of: Sell Sheets and One Sheets, The Marketing Tool For Authors, Speakers, and Entrepreneurs. 206-780-2257 4565 Point White Drive, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110) for helping me pull it all together I also need to thank Delores Kreiger, co-founder of Therapeutic Touch (http://www.therapeutictouch.org/) for pushing me to do more with my photography. My 1st book will be available, I hope, sometime next year.
In addition to all of this I still scrapbook and participate in other arts and crafts projects.
I cannot wait to get back into my hiking and snowshoeing! I've been busy getting my life in order, and have yet to do any since I've moved back. I am in the middle of trying to get myself back to my pilates studio - Elemental Balance with Jill Woodworth and Lori Amos. I also am needing to find a ballet studio as I have picked that back up. I knew I missed ballet, I just didn't realize how much until I started taking classes in California.
As you can see, I still have my 2 babies - Tiger & Chester. They are 12 this year, but are still acting like kittens as they are always wanting more attention.
I now work 5 days a week, which is a major change that I'm not excited about from working in the hospital - 3 day work weeks ROCK! Alas, I cannot work nights, so I am in a clinic job which requires me to work Monday-Friday. I like my new job, don't get me wrong; my body is just not used to working 5 days in a row and only 2 days to recover and play.
I have more stories and pictures that I will be posting later. Right now it's getting late and I have to work tomorrow. May your day be filled with sunshine and smiles.
HUGS!!!!
Sandra
