I'm Getting Married!

Little Fuzz

It is with a heavy and broken heart that I am writing to let you know that Chester, my Little Fuzz, the long haired cat in the picture, was sent off to kitty heaven with love on the Saturday morning of March 9, 2013.  He had been suffering and not eating, so letting him go surrounded by love was the best option.  While I know it was the right decision, my heart still aches, and I definitely miss his warm, purring little body on my chest as I fall asleep at night.  Tiger, the short hair, is still doing well, and I hope to have him for a while longer.  Tiger has begun to start sleeping on my chest where Chester used to sleep, which helps.  I hope to be able to write on here again soon with better, or at least different, news...

It’s the End of the World as We Know It!

It’s the End of the World as We Know It!

It’s been way too long since I have posted here. I’ve been doing more FB than blogging, which is kind of sad, I think. FB is a little faster and I get to catch up with other people at the same time, so it’s kind of killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

It’s is the official last day on the Mayan Calendar. I wanted to post because I know this is the beginning of a time of change for our people and planet. We are at a cross roads that has not been reached in thousands of years. We have the path of destruction and the path of growth in front of us. We all have to choose the same path; otherwise there is nothing for it. From what I have been reading on FB, there are many people who would choose the path of growth over destruction. We have to let go of revenge and focus on forgiveness, which is not easy, I know, but we have to! We have to focus on love instead of hate, which is easier if you can see that we are all interconnected and of the same making. It’s not about focusing on a religion, although that may be your preferred choice. It’s about focusing on our lives as a whole and working together as a community in order to grow, survive, and prosper.

As one of my friends and teachers has said, “The time is now!” She is right. The time is now for change. It’s time for our hippie parents to stand up for what they believed in so long ago. It’s time for our generation to stand beside them and support those ideals for a better world instead of waiting on the sidelines. It’s time for our children to realize that this isn’t the way it has to be; that even a small change in the right direction is still change in the right direction. It is time!

I hope this post finds you well in the end of the year 2012. I hope that the new year of 2013 brings you much joy, peace, and harmony. I hope that we can all stand together as one and change the course the world is on. I hope…

New Year, New Post...

I just got around to posting today, and I know it's been way too long since I've written. I am sorry for that.

I have been crazy busy with my nursing job, and I have finally started my scrapbooking classes at Michaels - Wednesdays 6:30pm-8:30pm in Draper. I also have crop night coming up on Friday the 14th from 2:30pm- 8:30pm same Michaels in Draper.

I am also a puppy mom. Sara and Lily are 2 new additions to my family. The cats are adapting nicely, surprisingly. I'll post pictures soon!

Anyway, drop me a line when you have time to let me know how you are doing or if you have questions.
HUGS!
