I am writing to notify you that I am now single again. It was a tough decision, but it is the right one. It's going to be a period of transition for a while, but things are going to be ok.
During this time, I am going to get things in my house in order. I started with the bedroom, and it's looking and feeling great! It's got good energy flow, no boxes, and feels very open. It's really nice. The next room to tackle is the office, I think. I am going to be using that more often, although my arts and crafts room is a very close second!
I hope you are all well and able to smile at least once on a daily basis!

What Planet Am I On?
Well, I’m sure you think I’ve fallen off the face of the planet. I feel like I have, too.
The downstairs is FINALLY, FINALLY put back together! The carpet has padding, is cleaned, and put back in place. Mike and I moved everything back in the downstairs, and I have begun to put my “playroom” together. I have sorted through all of my paper…sort of…and Mike has put in some shelves for me to store my scrap booking supplies on. Eventually we will put shelves in the closet to store my sewing things on.
I have been spending time “playing” with my best friend, Stephanie –we’ve been putting together a scrapbook of her nephew for her grandparents. We are also making one for her and her mom (the new grandma). This has been keeping me sane over the last week or so.
I’m not doing much else outside of that…work, of course, is ever present. It’s all good though. Need $$$ to pay the mortgage and be able to play!
Mom and Steve came over yesterday with 6 chairs for Mike’s large table. The chairs and table are solid oak, natural stained, and match perfectly! I want to thank my Mom and Steve for their generosity. Steve hadn’t been over in a while, and he got to see the light fixtures that I chose and Mike put in. He thought we have done a great job and have good taste.
Picture, you scream, where are the pictures! I have yet to take any of the work that we’ve done. I’ve kind of been waiting to get the house done so I could show you everything all at once. I have just decided, though, that I will take pictures of the light fixtures so that you can see the wonderful changes that we’ve made in that area. I will have those in the next few days…I hope. It just all depends on work schedule and actually taking the pictures then downloading them from the camera…*sigh* So much to do, and so pressured to get it done!

Are We Done Yet?
Of course not! Mike and I have been super busy with the house, work, and Dave Jr & Mau getting married...it's just been super crazy!
Ok, the house is beginning to take on some sort of organization as Mike and I prepare to have the flood damage fixed. It's nice to finally be actively doing something instead of just hanging around finishing painting. We do have 2 bathrooms left to paint, and both of those are closer to the bottom of the list. There are lots of touch ups that have to be done, but those are doable. I have to get the hardwood floor replaced before we can put that in, but I can't even put that in without the downstairs being done. Why? because all of the boxes that have been downstairs are now upstairs so that the downstairs can be fixed.
Work has been super busy. I worked 46hours this week! I am also the new opener when Doug and\or Mary Lynn are not there. This means that I get there at 730 and get to leave earlier, like 1530 or 1600 (which is 3:30-4pm).
Dave & Mau had a beautiful little wedding last week. Mau looked absolutely stunning and Dave was pretty sharp in a tux! I'll post some pictures soon...like I haven't said that before. ;)
