It’s the End of the World as We Know It!

It’s the End of the World as We Know It!

It’s been way too long since I have posted here. I’ve been doing more FB than blogging, which is kind of sad, I think. FB is a little faster and I get to catch up with other people at the same time, so it’s kind of killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

It’s is the official last day on the Mayan Calendar. I wanted to post because I know this is the beginning of a time of change for our people and planet. We are at a cross roads that has not been reached in thousands of years. We have the path of destruction and the path of growth in front of us. We all have to choose the same path; otherwise there is nothing for it. From what I have been reading on FB, there are many people who would choose the path of growth over destruction. We have to let go of revenge and focus on forgiveness, which is not easy, I know, but we have to! We have to focus on love instead of hate, which is easier if you can see that we are all interconnected and of the same making. It’s not about focusing on a religion, although that may be your preferred choice. It’s about focusing on our lives as a whole and working together as a community in order to grow, survive, and prosper.

As one of my friends and teachers has said, “The time is now!” She is right. The time is now for change. It’s time for our hippie parents to stand up for what they believed in so long ago. It’s time for our generation to stand beside them and support those ideals for a better world instead of waiting on the sidelines. It’s time for our children to realize that this isn’t the way it has to be; that even a small change in the right direction is still change in the right direction. It is time!

I hope this post finds you well in the end of the year 2012. I hope that the new year of 2013 brings you much joy, peace, and harmony. I hope that we can all stand together as one and change the course the world is on. I hope…
