to be thankful

Less than a week before Thanksgiving, and I'm already giving thanks - for my job, for not being the pedestrian hit in the cross walk tonight....I'm finding plenty to be thankful for.

I have been attempting to conquer my to do list that is miles long. I almost bought 2 more books tonight but then remembered Christmas was on the way and my siblings need something inexpensive to think about. The Quantum Enigma - there are a couple of books by that title, but there are 2 in particular that I'm interested in. Go ahead and amazon it and try to guess which ones.

I've done really good at not spending too much money as of yet this season - I do already have plans to embroider things for my family since I purchased the embroidery attachment for my sewing machine. ;)

Speaking of the season, here's something to think about and do - I know I'm going to make a few to send. Yea Cricut!

Well, I'm enjoying a nice glass of some yummy dessert wine - Electra Red - and just relaxing. Mike is over and we are watching planets - Jupiter and I think Venus, but it's something we are debating. We'll find out in a few minutes when he looks it up in a magazine\star chart.

The kitties are doing great. I took a self care day yesterday, and they LOVED it! I got a lot accomplished - slept in until 10:30-11am, did dished, laundry, finished shredding papers, and all that kind fo stuff - after which I took care of myself by going to a massage. Really good for my popped ribs. Yes, I did it again. I'm using essential oils and other modalities to heal them. Doing a fine job, too. It's almost been 2 weeks and the pain is only when I laugh (or sneeze or have the hiccups). They are still popping and clicking which I HATE! It's just nauseating to feel and hear.

The verdict is in - it IS Venus in the sky! Yea high school astronomy! Thank you to my teacher! Thank you to not losing that part of my memory - something chemo cannot touch! ;)

Ok, I'm going to end it here. Mike & I are going to watch a movie.
Love to all of you.
HUGS!
