My little fuzzum's, Chester, has severe pancreatitis. I am having to force feed him 10mL liquid food for nutrition and hydration. I am using my Therapeutic Touch and Reiki training. It's very hard being away from him as I am not able to call in sick to be with my cat. I know, it's really crazy, but my supervisors are my supervisors and it's their call. If anyone in the area is able to come over and sit with me while I care for him, please let me know.
On another note, I was at my OBGYN yesterday who also is an infertility specialist. I am able to carry a baby, but I'm most likely out of eggs as I don't menstruate without HRT. So, it will, at this time, cost about $17,000 to get an egg donor should I want to become pregnant. So, I have plenty of time to save up some $$$ before I dive into this - that and give myself time to get married...you know, set things up right for having a little one.
I hope you all are doing well.

DON'T DO IT!!!
Ok, we all learn some things the hard way. I have 2 for you.
#1) Pinnacle Highland Apartments in Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121 - DON'T DO IT!!!! If you look back further in my blog I tell you the entire fiasco of how they have tried to charge me to repaint the entire apartment which #1) was not in the lease, #2) they state as standard charges - with 2 stories on that one - the first is that it is because I lived there less than one year, and the second is that it's $300 because I stayed there less than a year and the amount would go down for every year I stayed after that - this was also NOT in the lease. In addition, they screwed up my utility bills for the apartment. I fought with them on the phone and told them it wasn't in the lease therefore I wasn't going to pay them. Well, they sent the "bill" to a collections agency! They never sent me a second notice before they did that. In addition, the agency that they sent it to #1) called everyday without leaving a message (totally unprofessional!) and #2) when I finally spoke with someone they sounded like they weren't even out of high school in terms of their customer service skills! Wait, that could describer just about any person on the planet these days...whatever happened to good customer service...anyway - Thank GOD my uncle is a lawyer and going to bat for me on this one!!!! Props to Uncle Rich! They've pissed me off enough for me to want to put this out there in a big way - so I'm also posting this on facebook. :)
#2) Grants 360 - DON'T DO IT!!!! This one already has a bad rap out there, and I just want to add to it in a big way - so I'm also posting this on facebook. :) They have a $2 fee for getting a kit, but they don't send out a paper kit anymore, and then this $2 gives you about 24 hours access to online information. Right after I registered I went to the website and was not impressed. I thought that I was tired and maybe I would be able to see things better in the morning. Well, the website they gave me to go to loog in no longer came up! In addition, they attempted to charge my credit card additional money! I went back and reviewed the fine print, and it then tells you all of these wonderful details. So, how cool is my credit card company? Cool enough to not let the charges go through! They thought it was fraud and declined the payment, called me, and we figured things out! So when I double looked at the fine print, you are supposed to cancel 24hours before you get charged...so basically, they are going to try and scam you out of an additional $60 because you cannot cancel within 24hours of that charge once you have started!
So, I hope that you have learned from my mistakes. I HATE learning this way! Maybe you have some others that you would like to share so that at least I don't have to learn them the hard way. ;)

My, How Time Passes
I was just looking at my past posts, and I just realized I have been blogging for over a year! I am amazed that I have been able to do at least 1 post a month for over a year. So many things have happened, and yet so much is now on hold. All and all, things are ok, though.
I hope that you all are doing well despite the economy and change in weather.

No, I'm Not Dead!
I am sorry to not have kept up on my blog. I have had at least 1 email from people asking where I am.
The house is currently at a standstill. I have no motivation to paint, no time to get the fireplace done, and life is just staying busy.
I am still working full time as an oncology nurse and part time as the scrapbooking couture at Michaels in Draper.
I won big time at the arbitration! The grand total was about $9000 and $3000 back to my insurance for the PIP. It was amazing - the other person continued to LIE about the entire incident under oath! You want to know something else - she is a patient where I work as a nurse! Yea, let me just say yea. In any case, the arbitrator sided with me on everything, and basically decided she was lying.
I'm dating someone new. He is wonderful - not that Mike wasn't. His name is Shenn. He is self employed as a graphic artist, advertiser, and palmistry reader. He's even created his own palmistry deck! I've played with that, and it's incredible! There is so much information and detail packed into the deck, and it's something that is worth playing around with as you learn so much! He also has a motorcycle, and I was able to go on my first motorcycle ride. It was really fun. He's a very good driver, and I felt very safe. YES, I wore a helmet, long jeans, coat, and boots. We both have a strong interest in energy healing (he prefers Reiki, and I prefer Therapeutic Touch, but we both have a similar effect on people. Some people prefer a stronger energy and other people prefer more gentle energy), metaphysical studies, comparative religions & their history, and being outdoors.
Once again, I cannot think of anything else to tell you. Feel free to write and ask, though.
